Television as a method of showing work

As opposed to the other methods of practitioners showing their work, I personally think showing work through television is extremely popular as a method. While the television does not allow any physical or personal interaction with the audience, (referring back to the other methods of showing work), it does allow a wider scale of audience feedback because most TV channels are global.

However, I think that receiving the audience feedback is substantially harder because there is nowhere for audiences of the TV show to leave their feedback, other than an online forum etc. The only way to receive personal feedback from an audience member through the process of showing work through television, is by getting a member of the audience to write a personal letter to the practitioner themselves. This however is widely unheard of in the process of showing work through television.

While the process of showing work through television means work is available more globally and more widely, this means that there is no personal interaction with the audience or anybody because watching television at home means that you are in the comfort of your own home, without the interaction with audience members.
