My personal and main job today was to do a storyboard from the shotlist I completed over the weekend. The shot list helped incredibly and was very useful as it meant I didn't have to meticulously look through the script and then work out what kind of shot was needed as I had already completed a shot list. Therefore Matt L, Tim and I created a storyboard together from the shot list and with the help of Kirk's storyboard templates. I think today went really well, we managed to get most of the storyboard completed and I think Tim and I managed to do about 25 shots which worked really well.
This will help Kirk and Tim when shooting so is excellent to have beforehand, and it also shows a good level of planning. The pictures and dialogue, as well as the shot type, were only to give the camera man and director a good basis of what to shoot in the episode - and with the script and shot list, as well as the story board, I think I have really helped in terms of the planning for the shoot. The next think for me to do tomorrow is to finish off the storyboard and arrange shooting, which means the room availability etc and actor times. I also need to complete a request sheet for the camera etc similar to the one I did for filming the auditions.
