Here is Tim helping me edit the poster, Tim created the main photo for the advertisement poster, and cartoonised each cast member which I really liked. It reminds me a little of the drama series 'Skins'.
This is the rough template for the advertisement poster on pages, I have changed the text but this picture is the default picture for the pages template I used.
I then added the main photo Tim was working on and this is the finished advertisement poster. I really like the colour scheme and the main photos, I think it will attract the audience excellently to the launch on Friday.
The first thing we did as a class was to have a class meeting to discuss the problems we felt we had as a group. On wednesday there were numerous arguments and it got to the point where we did not feel comfortable. Nonetheless, due to the meeting we had a talk and agreed it was mainly due to communication problems and not listening to each other, which we managed to resolve and now things are working a lot better in our group.
Today I have created clear advertisement posters to advertise the launch of our web series, while working with Alie and Tim who created the photoshop image on the poster. I have also created request forms for filming on Monday, and nick has signed and authorised these so we are well on the way to film the second episode Monday.
My plans for tomorrow with Alie is to photocopy the printed advertisement photos and also to stick these up around college. Hopefully with these posters and level of branding as well as web 2.0 we should have promoted the launch quite well.
