My plans for tomorrow's lesson are mainly to continue with the website marketing and advertising. While Matt L will do the editing, he has said he would like my opinion on shots etc so I will also be helping him with this, as he has a lot of editing to do too. My main job tomorrow is to create a website, although we assigned Dave and Ash this role, they either haven't been here or simply haven't got round to it, so I think I will create one tomorrow with the help of Tim.
I think a website is crucial to the web series and although we have facebook, twitter, myspace, vimeo and youtube I think a main overall website would still be the best idea and would really set the scene for the web series. While looking online for creating websites for free, I found an excellent looking website http://www.webs.com/, which looks simple and easy to use, as well as free. Me and Tim will definitely set one up tomorrow, including clear links to progress, videos, cast, blogs etc and we will continue to work on it as best we can.
This is mainly what Tim and I will be doing in tomorrow's lessons, I will also as production manager sort out any paperwork needed etc and will also give my opinions etc on editing with Matt, as well as the rest of the group just to give him an idea of what we would like the series to look like rather than just leaving him to edit it.
